The RICR Story

Since 1995 Reunion Island Coffee Roasters (RICR) has been proud of their uncompromising commitment to quality and sustainability. Over the years, they’ve cultivated strong relationships around the world with an incredible group of some of the most progressive sustainable coffee farms. They’re constantly exploring the globe to source exceptional coffees from emerging origins and innovative growers. From their roaster to your cup, there’s always something new to discover.

RICR was the recipient of Roast Magazine’s 2015 Roaster of the Year, recognized for their company mission, their outstanding quality coffee, sustainability and their participation in the Trees for the Future initiative.

Sustainability is a basic tenet of the RICR business. It is an undeniable truth that as the quality of life for those growing coffee improves, so does their crop. Further that effort by roasting & packing café-quality coffees in a 100% green, bullfrog powered carbon-free plant and you have a fantastic way to support a cleaner and healthier environment. To be the most sustainable coffee roaster in North America is RICR’s never ending quest.
